Transit
The Northstar Commuter Rail began operations in 2009 serving six communities in the northwest Minneapolis market. Northstar provides six round trips daily over 40 miles from Big Lake, Minnesota to downtown Minneapolis at the Twins Stadium Station where it interconnects with the Hiawatha LRT that continues to the airport and the Mall of America. In 2012, the new central corridor connection will carry it’s first passengers to downtown St. Paul, interconnecting Minnesota’s largest cities.

The Ramsey Station at The COR is an addition to the original six stations on the Northstar line. Anticipated to begin construction in the fall of 2011, the Ramsey station will be located at the existing transit station, and will become the only station on the Northstar line to be connected by skyway to an 800 stall structured parking facility. Located along Highway 10, Ramsey will be Northstar’s most visible station, providing tremendous recognition of this new regional amenity.
